Our Vision
Establish a world class community of creative artists and their installations in the Atlanta Tri-Cities (Aerotropolis) area
Our Mission
To inspire and empower people through visual and performing arts
Located 5 miles south of the Georgia State Capitol and adjacent to Hartsfield– Jackson Atlanta International Airport, the community of the Tri-Cities Arts Alliance (TSA) is made of up of three cities that serves a population of over 55,000 in a land area of just over 27 square miles. This diverse community is home to three, unique historic downtowns, headquarters of Porsche North America, Delta, Chick-Fil-A, and boasts the second largest convention center in Georgia (GICC). The demographic makeup of our community is 68% Black or African-American, 15% Hispanic or Latino, and 13% White and 28% is under the age of 18 and only 8.4% over the age of 65. The average median household income is $34,000. Only 66.2% of the population is in the civilian labor force, and 31% of the population is at or below the poverty level.
With this set of demographic challenges, the Tri-Cities Arts Alliance works to provide programming and support for artists to help inspire and empower people through the creative arts. The Arts are the 7th largest economic engine in the State of Georgia and provide employment to over 60,000 people statewide. We believe through expansion of the arts and programming in the Tri-Cities area we can have a positive and profound impact on the population by providing marquee signature events like the LocalMotion festival to reach over 10,000 people at a single event and provide great exposure to our sponsors and benefactors in the process. This type of programming, in turn, will help the local communities and drive economic benefits to the small businesses and artists that live in the communities served.
